  2. They are competent: people becomes defensive when you question their competency. It gets the team nowhere.
  3. They are committed: give them the benefit of doubt and let them prove to you that they do not care.
  4. They will add value to the project: remember the best ideas derives from a diverse collaboration.
  5. You will learn from them: take it as an opportunity to learn something new. Listen well and you will learn something new.
